Infant and Child Dedication

Here at Lux we practice Infant and Child Dedication. If you desire to raise you child in the ways of Jesus and you want the help of your church family then it’s time to dedicate your child to the Lord.

In Luke 2 we see that Jesus’ family took him to the temple to be dedicated to the Lord. Proverbs 22:6 tells us to raise our children in the way they should go so when they are old they will not turn away from it. These practices and principles have been lived out in different ways throughout church history so here at Lux we join in that rich and beautiful tradition of child dedication by publicly dedicating our children to the Lord and seeking the help of our church family to raise them in the ways of Jesus.
